Organization Profile

Hyperion Technology Group, Inc. is an employee-owned small business headquartered in Tupelo, MS, with additional offices in Charlotte, NC, and a newly opened location in Gulfport, MS. Our dynamic team comprises approximately 50 engineers with expertise in electrical, mechanical, computer, automation, and software engineering. We excel in designing and developing innovative sensor systems, power systems, and industrial manufacturing solutions, integrating various engineering disciplines across different business areas. Our core services include applied research, technology development, systems integration, rapid prototyping, and industrial automation. Some of our fielded technologies include gunshot detection systems, infrasound sensors, and specialized power electronics for microgrids. Our 54,000 sq. ft. facility in Tupelo features 28,000 sq. ft. of office space, 13,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space, 7,000 sq. ft. for fabrication, and 6,000 sq. ft. of laboratories, including a multimedia conference room. We are a U.S. Defense Top Secret holding cleared facility. Our building includes a robotics laboratory fully equipped for testing, a machine shop with five Haas CNC machining centers for rapid manufacturing and prototyping, and an additive manufacturing lab capable of 3D-printing carbon-fiber infused parts. Additionally, the dedicated fabrication area handles metal cutting, welding, and tube bending, with a segregated clean space for assembly and testing. The facility also houses four separate electronics laboratories for the assembly, commissioning, calibration, and repair of diverse sensor products.
